We were introduced to Lucy at Wagging Tails Pet Retreat by a friend. We have
a flat coat retriever & needed a place we trusted & felt comfortable with
for Toby while we were away.
 The
minute we met Lucy we knew we made the right choice. Toby took to her
immediately. Her facility is extremely clean & well maintained. Lucy takes
the time to make your pet's stay safe & fun. Toby loves his walks & playtime
with all the other dogs. He now cries when we get close to the resort
anticipating another visit with Lucy.
Thanks to Lucy we have now adopted another puppy & we know Charlie will love
his times with Lucy as well. Thank you Lucy & Wagging Tails Pet Retreat for
giving us piece of mind knowing our pets are well cared for day & night.

We fell in love with our beautiful German shepherd the
moment we saw him and he quickly became ours. Along with his brothers and
sisters Ripley was rescued from an abusive situation. We expected some
repercussions from that but little did we know that our special new family
member would suffer severe anxiety attacks.
Left alone for even a few minutes in his
crate he would completely destroy everything including ripping up the floor
boards. Left out of his crate, he still wrecked havoc in our home chewing
carpets and other items. We consulted a professional and tried numerous
strategies to modify his behavior…..all to no avail!! The result was we felt
tied to our home because we could never leave him alone.
And then…..friends recommended we try
Ripley at Wagging Tails Pet Retreat. At our first meeting with Lucy we
described in detail Ripley’s anxiety attacks and our efforts to help him get
over them. Lucy quickly agreed to take Ripley for half a day to see how he
would react. After a few minutes of watching Lucy handle the dogs we knew we
had come to the right place. Ripley enjoyed several “sleep overs“ with Lucy
and amazing things began to happen. He became calmer, less excitable and
able to stay on his own with no damage being done. Even when he was left
surrounded in Christmas decorating chaos nothing was disturbed.
There is no doubt in our minds that we
owe all of this to the fantastic care and nurturing Ripley received from
Lucy. She could easily be given the title of “Dog Whisperer”. Thank you Lucy
for helping our Ripley overcomes his anxiety. He is one happy well adjusted
dog and we credit you for that.

Our family pet Ripley, a beautiful
German Shepherd, suffers from severe anxiety attacks
whenever he is left in
the house alone. We travel frequently to visit our family in Niagara and
could not always bring him with us. So began a frantic search to find a
safe, comfortable environment where we could occasionally leave Ripley in
care. The first choice ended in disaster both for Ripley and for us. We were
at the point of thinking we would never find a place where Ripley would feel
secure when a friend suggested we try Wagging Tails Pet Retreat.
From the moment we met “ Mama Lucy” we knew we were in excellent hands. She
listened to Ripley’s history and agreed to take him on a trial basis. It was
a resounding success. Ripley loved Lucy ( and so did we!) and eagerly went
to stay at Wagging Tails Pet Retreat. Lucy has a remarkable
gift with animals and we have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone
looking for a place to leave their pet. One word of caution: You may have a
hard time getting your pet to leave!

We first met Lucy from Wagging Tails Kennel several years ago
when our loving 15 year old Dalmatian, JB, was unfortunately nearing the end
of his time with us. He was struggling to stand for any period of time and
needed special care and attention. My husband and I had to go on a business
trip and Lucy kindly agreed to look after him for us. I know she had to
spend a great deal of extra time with JB and ensure he received his various
medications twice daily. Lucy's loving and caring way allowed us to go away
and confidently know our pet was well looked after in an exceptionally clean
and safe environment.
Lucy also looked after our kitty, Louie. As I understand it, he roamed
around the Wagging Tail's inviting office area while Lucy sat at her desk
doing her daily paperwork!
It is obvious Lucy has a special gift with animals and this business is her
calling. We would highly recommend the Wagging Tail Kennel to everyone. It
is "pawsitively" great!!

Ever since Lucy Davidson opened Wagging Tails Pet Retreat, I have taken
Amber to stay with her while we vacation. Amber is my 9 year old American
Cocker Spaniel. Upon her arrival, Amber is greeted with such affection
that there is no doubt in my mind that she will be well taken care of.
She obviously enjoys her stays with Lucy.
Lucy goes out of her way to make sure all her residents have an enjoyable
stay – from daily exercise and playtime, to special treats and of course
even a nice warm bath. Amber loves her time at Wagging Tales and has made
many four-legged friends and of course one special friend, Lucy.
I have and will continue to recommend Wagging Tails Pet Retreat to
friends, relatives and neighbors. I never take Amber anywhere else but
to Lucy. We are indeed completely satisfied with her services.

Thanks Lucy!
Awesome!
Heidi goes to Wagging Tails at least 5 times a month for day boarding; Lucy
is part of our extended family. When we ask Heidi (our German Shepherd) if
she wants to go visit "Aunt Lucy", she runs around the house in a frenzy!
Thanks Lucy for making our lives easier - we always know Heidi is loved and
safe!

Fantastic
Lucy at
Wagging Tails are incredible. We took our dog Nestle Chocolate Lab there
since the first day they opened and they were sensational. We have now moved
to Australia and we cannot find anyplace like Wagging Tails to send Ness she
really misses Lucy. I recommend Wagging tails to all who have dogs or cats.
